Artwork getting applied to totally different tracks in totally different directories

I have a .flac file in a folder which has embedded album art:

D:\BobTunes\Imogen Heap\The Shepherdess (live).flac

In a completely different directory, I have a completely different track:

D:\BobTunes\Sophie Lu\ASTRONEER Game Trailer.mp3

However LMS is showing that track using the art from the Imogen Heap track! I've done a complete clear & rescan of the library but it still assigns that Imogen artwork to the completely unrelated track -- and to various other tracks in totally different directories. What's weird is that if I find the said track and click it, I get the generic CD 'no artwork' artwork on the left, but when I click to play it, it pulls up the bad artwork on the player side:

Name: lms-art.png
Views: 8
Size: 61.0 KB

As you can also see above, I am browsed to Albums > No Album which is 4 pages worth of random tracks with varying degrees of completed tags, but nevertheless all have no album tag defined, and LMS has decided that the Imogen Heap one should apply to them all -- except for tracks which do have embedded artwork of their own, and it shows those correctly.. it's just zeroed in on that particular Imogen Heap one to use for everything with no album that doesn't have its own art.

Is this an expected behavior, and if so, is there a way to make it not do this? ;)

Running Logitech Media Server 7.8.0 on Linux; actual music library is on a Windows machine mounted over the network, so from the server's point of view it's scanning /mnt/bobtunes which is D:\BobTunes on the Windows box, if any of that matters.

Thanks for listening.
