Hi All,
Here is my story: couple months ago I decided to see if I could get a better sound quality than my beloved Squeezebox Touch by building a player with a Raspberry Pi3 + 7" touchscreen + Luckit WaveIo card all connected to my Chord Qute Ex DAC.
I tried with Volumio first: nice looking UI but not as practical and user friendly as LMS + sound quality was not as good as the SBT.
I finally tried with MoOde, same audio quality as the SBT, not better, and UI not as good as LMS + no Spotify plugin.
So now my question is, did I waist my money by buying this new kit or would this kit be better than my current Squeezebox if I put LMS on it??? [emoji848]
I can't really understand how is it possible that my 10 years old SBT sounds better or at least as good as the latest technology player.
Thanks
