Problem Boom connecting to LMS on LinuxLite/ESXi

Hi,

At work I have a boom and have installed LMS 7.9.1 on LinuxLite 3.8 (64 bit) on ESXi. The intention is to simply use it to listen via the RadioParadise flac plugin. Previously have been using mysb.com.

Install has gone ok - I can ping between my boom and LMS IP. The LMS web interface works fine from the Linux host (localhost) but I cant reach the LMS web interface from another host. Similarly I cannot get my boom to connect to my LMS.

I ran a TCPDUMP and I can see a syn being received at the host but there is no response --> LMS is therefore not responding.

There is no problem making a connection from Linux to an external site.

AFAICT the problem is somehow network access between LMS & LinuxLite.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
