LMS player on Apple TV - What isavailable? Experiences?

Hi

I am contemplating of replacing my Pi which is functioning as a plex client for videos and a squeeze player for the lms with an Apple TV (remote, need a second player anyway for the kitchen anyway , …).

I have found http://slimlibrary.matglo.com/ and I remember a second player -

Do they work nicely?

Can they sync with a pi (the kitchen is directly next to the lounge)?

Any thoughts concerning sound quality and stability?
